Course MNPS - Tractografies

Course Details
Processamento de Diffusion Tensor Image (DTI) e geração de Tractografias (*)

Theoretical-practical course where the generation of tractografies from DTI and MNPS system resources will be shown.
  • Magnetic resonance diffusion imaging (dMRI) processing.
  • Generation of tractografies from dMRI.
  • Generation of Fractional Anisotropy images.
  • Use of open source tools and the MNPS system in dMRI processing.
Students should bring their own notebook, where a demo version of the system will be installed.

This course is the second module of the MNPS 2019 Course.
The enrollment for all modules of interest of the student must be made in the same Registration Form.


Target Audience: Neurosurgeons, neurosurgery residents interested in stereotactic, biomedical and technical MNPS operators.

Additional Information

  • For theoretical-practical courses students must bring their own notebook, where a demo version of the MNPS will be installed. The notebook must have 64-bit Windows (Windows 7 or Windows 10) and recommended antivirus (Nod 32 or Windows Defender). Other antiviruses can cause problems that we cannot solve at this time.
  • For the theoretical course it is not necessary to bring a notebook, however, students who have the system updated with the latest version of MNPS can use their notebook to follow the examples that will be presented.
  • Registrations will only be confirmed upon payment.
  • Payment details are on the application form.
  • Registrations and payments will not be accepted on the day of the course. If you have any difficulty, please, contact us in advance.
  • The course is confirmed with a minimum of 6 students in the courses of Thursday and Friday, and 10 students in the course of Saturday.
  • If there are vacancies, applications will be accepted until August 15th.
